Besides
catering to the needs of the children of the
Institute, it also aims to solve health problems
of the local people. It served sensorial impaired
children and adults with physical problems.
This is manned by a specialist. There has been
an appreciable increase in the number of beneficiaries.
Kiranam Health Education is being formed with
eminent doctors, who voluntarily accepted to
serve the disabled around Vanasthalipuram, like
Hayatnagar, Ibrahimpatnam, Turkumjal, Nagole,
Sahebnagar, Peddamberpet, Kohida etc., with
an aim to display the prevocational and vocational
skills and abilities in persons with mental
handicaps to the lay public thereby dispelling
the letters doubts / suspicions on the capabilities
of the persons with mental retardation.

Under Medico-Social Work, diagnostic service,
Family Intervention, Parental Counseling, Assessment,
Awareness Camps, Extension services are provided
to a limited number of cases in our locality.
Under Clinical Psychology, follow-up and assessment
behaviour modification and parental counseling
are taken up. Following are the cases examined
